Seraa AI User Guide

Getting started

Write a Task note, activate it, follow the run

Your first Task note

The shortest useful thing you can do in Seraa is take one document, review it against your own standards, and land the result on someone's desk. That is one Task note.

1. Bring in the document

Upload the agreement, or connect a drive and sync the folder it lives in. Processing runs in the background. Wait for the document's AI-ready indicator before starting the review; if processing fails, use the retry action in the document list.

2. Write the note

In Notes, choose New note, then Task. Give it a title and write what you want done, one step per statement:

Review the [Acme MSA] against the [Vendor Terms Rulebook].
Record the findings.
Ask [Maya] to approve the agreement before signing.

The bracketed pieces are references. You pick them as you type rather than spelling them out, so each one points at the actual document, rulebook and person.

No rulebook yet? Write the standards on a Skill note first and reference that instead. Standards belong somewhere reusable, not inside the Task.

3. Activate it

Choose Activate in the note header. Seraa checks the Task's structure and seals the current instructions. Activation and run readiness are separate: you may still need to assign people or supply values before starting a run.

If activation is blocked, read the reported issue, correct the note, and try again.

4. Run it

Choose Run. If Seraa asks for missing people or values, fill them in to start. Referenced Forms must also be activated before the Task can use them.

The run works through the steps and records what each one produced. When it reaches the approval, it stops and waits for Maya. It will keep waiting; nothing approves on her behalf.

5. Come back to it

Open the run to see which version of the note it followed, what each step produced, and who decided what. That record is what you reopen when the question returns months later.
